Artist's Comments

I know that the cutesy minimalist figurines have been done before, but this was a Christmas present for my dear friend who has a room decked out in Alice in Wonderland arts stuffs.

I was making Christmas presents on the cheap this year--she is made out of Sculpey clay, acrylic paint, sculpey glaze, and the occasional toothpick.

As for Scale, Alice is about an inch and a half.

I often get asked if I'll make and sell more of these--I will! It's $15 for an individual figurine or $45 for the whole set.

no prob!

i tried to make something out of sculpy once and my thumb prints were all over it and it ended up being lumpy, i'm always wowed when people are able to make something look good ^_^

You'd be amazed how much of the thumb prints and fuzzy-lint specs you can cover up just by painting the stuff! I hate trying to use colored sculpey, I don't even bother buying any color than white.
